I am from the south. I am not to sure about the bbq in Connecticut , but I am into the bbq world though. I custom make smokers and actually enter some competition and make my own sauces.
It's a hidden hole-in-the-wall that shouldn't be as good as it is...but by gosh, it is outstanding. The food is delicious. Real southern style BBQ ribs, great sauces, southern sweet tea, homemade southern desserts. It's all absolutely mouthwatering. And unlike some of the nearby competition in Derby, for example, the prices are reasonable. Like the previous reviewer said, don't go there for the atmosphere--I wouldn't want to eat in there at all--and you'll really have to look hard to find it (just look for CVS). But once you do find it, it's well worth the search.
Texas Beef Ribs are out of the world. It was everyone's favorite.

Ribs and pulled pork were good. Beef ribs and brisket were dry and under seasoned. Nice choice of sauces.
This is the worst pulled pork sandwich that I have ever had in my life. I jave no clue how they are in business. Maybe I should move to Connecticut and open a real bbq. I would be a millionaire if this is what Connecticut has to offer for bbq.
